How it works
Finding a pen pal is simple: browse for free, read, and reach out — by text from your own phone, or by mail.
Step 1: Browse the directory
Search by name or keyword, or filter by age, gender, state and release year. Sort by newest, releasing soonest, or name. No account needed.
Start browsingStep 2: Read their profile
Each profile has photos, the person's own words about who they are and what they're looking for in a pen pal, plus their location, release date and how to reach them.
Step 3: Text from your phone
If the profile shows an “Accepts texts” marker, register your phone once (free, a one-time code) and reveal their text number. Then message them from your regular cell phone — your number stays private.
Register your phoneStep 4: Or write a letter
Every profile lists a mailing address. Put the full name and register number on the envelope exactly as shown, use plain paper, and give a P.O. Box for replies.
Step 5: Keep in touch
Save favorites, pick up where you left off, and come back when you're ready to write again. Member accounts with favorites and saved searches are coming soon.
What it costs
Ready when you are.
Start with the directory, or read the safety guidelines first if you would rather know what to expect.
